Meet Bridget (located Fayetteville, GA)

Name: Bridget (located in Fayetteville, GA)
Age: 11 years old
Sex: Female
Size: 5 lbs
Adoption Fee: $200
Contact Email: justrobin@hotmail.com

We would love to talk to you about Bridget or any of our other available Chin but first you will need to go to our website and submit an adoption application.

Health: Bridget has been spayed, is heartworm negative and current on vaccines. She has one tooth, and it sticks out – we call it her can-opener, or Under Unicorn! She had an eye that had to be removed and since then she is not bothered at all. We have discovered that cottage cheese is a particularly favorite treat of hers! She has a Grade 3 heart murmur, but it doesn't stop her from enjoying life.

Bridget's story: Bridget's foster mom says she is the sweetest little girl she has ever had the pleasure to foster! She uses the tee tee pads and will go outside when encouraged, but doesn’t particularly like being outside. Princess Bridget looks up at you and smiles with that tooth! She has a variety of adorable nicknames: Little Bit, Princess and Empress. She definitely likes being a special little dog!

My Ideal Home: Bridget is a timid girl but loves to be petted and to get all your attention. She deserves to be the center of someone's world. Because of her age and size, she requires a quiet, fairly sedate household (no children under the age of 12), where she can live her final years in peace, and as the Empress of all she surveys! She would be fine as an only dog or with another dog with a low activity like her. She would be the ideal pet for a stay at home Mom or Dad or someone who works from home.

Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.

If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help this dog, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/she finds a furever home.

JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
