Meet Percy. This sweet old man was saved from a local shelter where he was on the list to be euthanized due to diabetes and a mass on his mouth that was suspected to be cancerous. We rushed him immediately to our vet where he was given the best care possible. Within just 2 weeks of proper veterinary care and the dedication of an amazing foster, he went into diabetic remission, which is wonderful news! His oral mass was also removed and there was NO CANCER FOUND!!! YAY!!!! This boy is absolutely amazing. He loves attention and will follow his foster around the house, helping her with tasks and chattering all along the way. He is an absolutely hilarious old man with so many stories to tell. He loves to be snuggled and loved on his terms. He prefers to sit next to you and get pet but is not the biggest fan of being held. He tolerates other cats and prefers that they leave him alone. He is not the biggest fan of kittens, they are too playful and annoying for this old man. He hasn't been around dogs but he should do fine with respectful dogs who don't bother him. He hasn't been around children either. I'm sure older children would be fine or children who were respectful of him and his space. He love cat nip toys, wand toys, and chasing around other cats showing them he's the boss. Despite being 15 years old, this boy is full of life and does not act his age. He prefers his own kitty bed to sleep in but like to be in the same room as you when its bed time. He would love a nice home where he can retire and live the spoiled life. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchip, Rabies & PRC (distemper) vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV tests.
