Meet Mommas! At four years old, cutie pie Dachshund mix Mommas is looking for a loving home that can offer her stability and support as she adjusts to her new life on wheels. After sustaining an injury that caused paralysis in her hind end, Mommas was unwilling to let her limitations limit her one bit – within moments of acquiring her new ride, she was zipping around the playroom like it was all second nature! Mommas has a positive, happy-go-lucky attitude and is always eager for adventures, when she is not busy cuddling with her favorite pal (and fellow dog-on-wheels), Chewey. This little lady gets along great with other dogs (who she plays with) and cats (who she tolerates respectfully). While Mommas loved living with young children previously, she would prefer older or respectful children in her new home to minimize her chance for re-injury. Mommas would thrive with an adopter who has experience in handling medical special needs, though welcomes anyone new and willing to learn how to handle her as well!
