Shadow--I'm a Dog Friendly Adoption Center Dog! Terrier & Hound Mix Chicago, IL

This cute lil' bug is Shadow and, per his foster mom, he definitely lives up to his name. He is very loving and will follow you around all day wagging his tail! Shadow is an energetic young (we believe right around a year) fellow who would love an active family to engage him and take him on adventures.

He also would do nicely with other pets as he has gotten along very well with all the dogs he has encountered on walks and in his neighborhood. Though he's improving, Shadow does not like being left alone or crated and suffers from a little separation anxiety. He can live in a condo or single family home, but will thrive most with someone who isn't gone at work for super lengthy days.

Overall, he is still just a sweet and silly puppy who will need some consistent training to get him out of he habit of chewing things (hide your shoes!) and being more comfortable in his crate. Thankfully this dude has a fabulous temperament and he loves to cuddle and play chase with a ball or frisbee.
