Sophia Poodle & Pomeranian Mix Rochester, NY

Sophia is a shy but charming lady looking for her loving forever family. She is a Pomeranian/Poodle mix, approximately 8 years old, who has spent her life in a puppy mill – until now. Sophia is learning about what it’s like to live in a home, get loving touches from humans, and enjoy the outdoors.

Housetraining is in progress, and Sophia has discovered that she really enjoys having a clean crate and comfy clean bed to sleep in. The right family will understand that patience and kindness are key to helping her continue to make progress. Sophia gets along with the other dogs and cats in her foster family.

Sophia will require a loving and patient home, with someone who is willing to work with her to build trust and encourage her to enjoy a dog’s life. A home without small children is recommended.
