How can you not love that cute, goofy, lovable, happy face? Say hello to Dawson! This young lad is a true character that is patiently waiting for a home of his own. Dawson is still young, so of course he has some enthusiastic energy. But, with good walks, play time outside, and some training, Dawson will settle right down. He really enjoys meeting people and has done well in the yard with some play buddies. He can be choosy about his playmates so it is important that he meets any resident dogs prior to adoption to make sure that everyone wants to be friends.We have found that Dawson does NOT do well with small dogs or kitties. Dawson loves his toys and is a curious guy that likes to explore. He really loves to be outdoors; and, when the weather is fairer, you can often see him in his typical frog legged position lounging in the sunshine. Our dedicated volunteers have put a lot of love and time into helping to polish Dawson's rough edges through training. We really would love for Dawson to find a home that will continue to teach him how to be a well mannered canine citizen. He is sure to become a cherished companion for a special someone.
