Meet Rueben

Rueben is 1-2 year old bully breed mix who came to the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. He is a big, muscular and impressive looking boy who probably weighs 80 to 90 lbs. Rueben is an outgoing.very friendly dog. His big head matches the size of his heart. He appears to be housebroken as well. He would probably do better with another larger breed, active dog to pal around with. Because of his size and rambunctious nature, he might be too much for a small dog to handle. Rueben loves meeting new people and is always happy to oblige in a puppy kiss or butt scratch for all of his new friends. His smile is quite infectious. Rueben's goofiness is accentuated by the fact that his tongue has a tendency to hang out on the side of his mouth. This doesn't impede his ability to eat or drink and gives him a goofy charm. The veterinarian suspects this was caused by an electrical accident when he was younger, but needs no treatment or cause any impediment in his quality of living.
