Meet Hops

Meet Hops! Hops is a 6 week old husky shepherd mix and is one of our special needs babies. He was born with Canine Vestibular Disease which can cause head tilting, circling and stumbling as well as hearing loss. It looks a little like he had a little too much fun on a night out. There is no cure for the disease but don't worry it's not as bad as it sounds. Since Hops has the congenital form not the geriatric he will be able to adapt to the disease and will be less affected by it as they get older. We've already seen improvements in his fine motor movements and the vet expects them to live a long, normal life. They don't expect it to cause other health issues. He definitely has a zest for life and doesn't let anything stand in his way! You won't regret adding this little gem to your family!
