Mozart Bichon Frise Orange, CA

Mozart is an 18 mo old bichon who weighs 17 lbs. He is very social and enjoys being near his people; when they are home likes to follow them around and be a part of whatever is going on! Mozart LOVES the outdoors; he likes long walks or frequent short ones. When the front door opens he enjoys running out to smell in the front yard (and he knows not to go into the street). He is still very much a puppy, he will often pick up a ball and play with it himself and if he can entice you to play fetch he will always bring it back to you. He LOVES his squeaky toys and playing tug of war. Having the neighbor's dog over, she is also under 2 years old and his size, is great fun for both. They will play and play until they run each other's energy out!

Mozart is a very smart boy, he is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay and come. He will initially bark when there is a knock at the door , just to know his humans know there is someone there, but will become immediately become his new guest’s best friend. He knows his name and will come when called. He is crate and leash trained; he does not dig and does not chew on things that belong to his humans. Mozart was born with an issue in his right hip. He is in no pain but does skip or hop when he runs.

Mozart’s joined his family when he was 4 months old, they have another dog Rascal, was 7 years old then. Mozart soon became Rascal's shadow and best friend. Mozart and Rascal’s family are moving and unable to keep them. They have found a home for Rascal, with a family member, but need to find a perfect home for Mozart. Mozart is very social and will do best in a home with another canine best friend or with a family that is home most of the time.

Mozart is neutered, current on all vaccinations and micro chipped. He is being fostered in Southern California and available for adoption. Adoption applications are available at www.bichonrescuebrigade.org.
