Sydney--Dog and Kid Friendly Adoption Center Dog! Collie Mix Chicago, IL

Though we don't like to make our foster families feel sad, we always know it's a good thing when they tell us just how difficult it will be for them to part with a foster!
As her foster dad explains it, Sydney will be an amazing family member and if he weren't so committed to continuing to foster, she'd become a permanent member of their home.

Sydney gets a lot of attention while on walks. Many people stop and ask what kind of dog, say how beautiful and cute, etc. And then she runs up to them and leans on them and gives them kisses.

Sydney is:

--Super friendly with all people, including babies whom she loves to kiss and lick.
--Barks very little
--She is uniquely gentle, no teeth or lunging forcefully when receiving treats.
--Eager to play with other dogs
--Smart: learned not to go on sofa with only 3 tries, knows sit on command now (including outside the front door when we leave, by the elevator, and inside the elevator), and is well on her way to being potty trained.

This gem is about 4.5 months old, about 30 lbs, and though her breed mix is a guess, we think she'll be a medium-large adult .She's now spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300 and our survey can be accessed here: http://www.onetail.org/adoption/apply/
