Meet Hershey
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Hershey is a super adorable 9 month old puppy with the most gorgeous, feathery soft grey fur that seems to be low or non shedding. He is a little thin at 9.8 pounds but will always be a petite guy. He had quite a few mats so you can see spots on his underside where we had to shave it close. He will be stunning when it all grows back in.
Hershey was purchased off Craigs List at only 6 weeks old and has been in a loving home. They just adopted a child and, unfortunately, the child turned out to be allergic to dogs so here he is with us, ready for a great new home.
They said he is good with other dogs, cats and children. He has been around children in the 1 to 10 year old range and likes them just fine. He is very sociable and loves to make new friends.
Since he grew up in a good home, he has plenty of confidence. He is very affectionate and likes to give kisses. Hershey has a delightfully happy personality.
He loves to explore and go for walks. He is still a bit excited on the leash but he is still a youngster and will learn. He does need a family that will take him on regular walks and play with him to work out some of that puppy energy! He is playful and likes to chase balls.
His family said that he is good in the car and enjoys rides. He likes to please you and sits on command.
Hershey has one cherry eye which we will have surgically corrected soon so he will be all ready for his new home. His eye will be good as new after the surgery!
He is crate trained and does not have any accidents in the crate. He is almost done with his housetraining but, like any new puppy, will need to be retrained and monitored in his new home so that he knows not to have boo boos.
When they got him at 6 weeks, he as advertised as a Shih Tzu mix. His fur is so soft and feathery and his personality so happy and friendly and his face so cute that he seems like he might have a bit of Havanese mixed in but we do not know.

4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to lovingpetinnadoptions@gmail.com

6. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
