Kai Beagle Cincinnati, OH

Sadly Kai arrived at STAF when his former home no longer had time for him.

They let us know that “with a growing family adding to the demands of long working hours for both parents, priorities have unfortunately shifted”.

Kai was no longer a priority. No longer part of the family. Kai is heartbroken.

We at STAF are thankful we can be here for Kai and proud to be his new (interim :o)) family.

Kai is 100% beagle. We at STAF LOVE beagles! He loves being with people, following his nose on walks and hikes, and is the best cuddle buddy around. He's great with children of all ages, other dogs of all sizes, and before coming to STAF, his best friend was a cat:o). Kai also does great at daycare!

With all that Kai has been through he could definitely use some help in boosting his confidence and he may benefit by being in a home with a second dog to keep him company during the day.

Kai is pretty special and we want to be sure that the next home that is lucky enough to have Kai will finally love and appreciate him like he deserves and will see him into his senior years.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
