Meet Toby
Nov 13, 2016 - Toby, our diamond in the rough, has been adopted. He was the beaten up, shaggy, big Tom cat who needed eye surgery, dentistry and a nail removal. He is going to a home with another cat.
Toby is a big boy with a personality to match. He was born in early 2012. He is just under 15 pounds, has more toes than your average cat, and has just enough catitude to be extra interesting. He loves to be near his people - he wants to be in on all the action. Head scratches and neck rubs get him purring loudly. He likes to play with the laser light, ping pong balls and cat dancer.
We think he would enjoy the company of another playful cat. He will sometimes give gentle love bites when playing with people (we are teaching him not to), so only a home with adults, and possibly teenagers, would be suitable. A home with a cat-friendly dog would be great. He likes the dog in his foster home.
Toby has been neutered, had surgery to correct entropion in one eye, a dental cleaning, and two ingrown nails removed.
We envision Toby on a poster with a fireman, policeman or construction worker; the caption would be "Real Men Like Cats". This muscle-bound, sensitive dude certain has 'presence'.
