Meet Olive

Olive was very overweight and didn't seem to recognize healthy rabbit food or vegetables when we first met her. She was a little cautious and outgoing at the same time. She was probably used to people before arriving at the shelter. She is playful and likes to roll on her side. She is on a diet and should be available for adoption soon. Olive is an intelligent and confident deva who needs a little time to trust her human companions, so she will do well with an experience person who has had rabbits. She would not do well with small children.

Come meet Olive and other adoptable rabbits at our next monthly adoption event!

If you need more information about rabbits or would like to attend an adoption event, see the information below.

Come meet all of our fabulous foster rabbits! Because we do not have a shelter to introduce our foster rabbits and our volunteers have limited time to respond to all online inquiries, the best way to meet one of our rabbits is to attend our next adoption day. Sometimes people bond to a different rabbit in person than the one they choose online.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.
