MEET TABITHA....and she is a wonderful little 12 lb, 2-3 yr old, gray/white, Shih Poo, with a spirited personality. She is a love bug, loves to play, loves other dogs but is not so good with cats! She's just too interested! Little Tabitha came to LHH from SEAACA Shelter with pneumonia, but she's all better now. We are still learning about her, but the best home for her that we can determine is one that will work on her training, as she is very intelligent and wants to please. She would be good with kids over 5 yrs old and would love a canine companion, but could go as an only dog to the right home, where she will spend little time by herself. She would be a terrific family dog as she is good with everyone....including big and little dogs! Tabitha would love to twitch her little nose and have you bring her home right away!! She's ready!!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday (unless we are doing a special event) at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar on www.lhasahappyhomes.org for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets!

You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events).

Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
