Hi, I'm Kai, which means 'the sea' in Hawaiian, a handsome American Staffordshire Terrier mix.

I'm a big strong boy who loves pets, playing ball, walks, running around and lying at your feet. Although I've been around children of all ages from toddlers on up, I would do best in an adult only home.

A volunteer took me to training a few years ago and although I was able to get along better with big dogs, I still didn't care for the small ones, maybe they remind me of cats; therefore I would do best as your one and only.

I do have arthritis in my hips and back legs as well as being allergic to chicken/eggs. I take daily medication and I'm on a hydrolyzed protein diet to help keep it under control.
