Zena Shiba Inu & Retriever Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Zena a stunningly beautiful 2 year old Shiba Inu/Retriever mix. Zena is a playful and sweet girl. She was recently rescued from a local shelter right before she was due to be euthanized. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and doing well. Zena is a very smart girl who enjoys going on walks and swimming. She also has a great time playing with her foster brother - who is teaching her to play fetch - however she has more fun trying to pounce on the ball rather than catching it. One of her favorite things to do after playing is to curl up with him and take a nap. She loves to go outdoors and explore, or go on a run with her foster parent. She is a very active dog with a great disposition and is good around kids and other dogs. She would do well with another medium-sized dog as a playmate, and/or with a family with younger children to give her the playtime she needs. She is crate and housetrained. She currently weighs around 40lbs and is full grown. Her adoption donation includes her current vaccines, spay and microchip.
