Meet Rita
Meet little Miss Rita! She is a 10 lb, 3 yo, house trained, crate trained, dog friendly Chiweenie that loves to play with toys.
She was found as a stray by the shelter and no one ever claimed her. Rita did suffer from an injured back and was unable to walk for awhile, but through rest and medication, she now runs and plays with everyone in her foster family. They say she does well in a pack and enjoys socializing. She doesn't mind a body harness or a collar -- as long as it has her name on it! She loves daily walks and going outside to play in the yard.
She is learning the pecking order in a pack family... but she does enjoy having her own bed! Foster mom says she truly enjoys affection, is hungry for love and wants to be petted and loved on. She does enjoy resting in the sunshine on a pretty day, when she's not busy exploring or playing.
Rita's foster family wants you to know a few new things about me: I love playing with toys and can play tug a war. Walking every day is keeping me fit. Since I am a Chi-Weinie, I will be more on the stocky and that makes more of me to love. My fosters don't feed me extra things so I am a meaty girl by nature. I will be happy in a family with male or female dogs as I am great in a pack though I am also happy to be an only dog. It would be great to meet you.
