EDGAR-PENDING Labrador Retriever & Hound Mix Amherst, OH

This sweet little guy was rescued from the Cleveland Kennel. He had an old leg injury that could not be fixed so his leg was amputated. Thank you to Fido's Companion for sponsoring Edgar's surgery. PLEASE NOTE: Three legged dogs get along fine, they do not know they are different. Edgar is a great dog who loves people and other dogs, we do not yet know about cats. He should do well with kids who are at least 8-10 years of age and respectful of dogs. Edgar is about a year old and currently weighs 38 lbs, could stand to gain a few lbs. He is a lab/hound mix and both of those breeds have the best personalities, always very friendly. Edgar has been in foster with another dog and does great, they play much of the time. He is housetrained and can be left with the run of the house for at least short periods, the foster dad is home most of the time. He is an all around great dog with a lot of energy.
