Meet William

William is lonely! When we met him he was living by himself in a storm drain in a townhome complex. We think he must have been abandoned there, but we can’t imagine why because he is so sweet. His foster mom packed him up and brought him home, but then got some very sad news. William tested positive for the feline leukemia virus. He is not contagious to people, and he shows no symptoms of illness, but he can’t be around other cats. Since William’s foster home has other rescue cats, he has to be in a room by himself and does not get enough attention. This is breaking our hearts, because William likes to play. He is not a “needy” cat, but he does love to have his back rubbed and deserves a better life than the one he has now. He would be completely content with a special person who understands that he might not have a lot of years ahead of him. William would make a perfect companion for another leukemia+ cat, or for anyone who wants a buddy to hang out with in the evenings. Please consider opening your home and your heart to this special guy.
