Lucy Pit Bull Terrier Mt. Vernon, NY

Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 2-3 year old pit mix, that was picked up by the police hanging out on someone's porch. She was never claimed.

Lucy had it a bit rough as she had a scar around her neck and had to have dental work done on her teeth and was emaciated. But that doesn't bring Lucy down, she's a staff and volunteer favorite. She's great on her walks, loves a good petting and loves to play in the yard.

Lucy is a star with the other dogs at the shelter and is involved with all the playdates. She plays well with the other dogs, Theo, Joey, Jax, and a few others. She would do well in a home with another friendly dog.
