Mickey Dachshund & Terrier Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Mickey a 10 month old Dachshund/Terrier mix. Mickey and his sister Smooch, were dodging cars on a busy highway before being rescued by a Good Samaritan. Both puppies had been on their own for some time and were exhausted, hungry and cold. Despite Mickey's tough beginning, he loves & trusts everyone he meets. He is a bashful little boy who will roll over on his back when he wants to be picked up and cuddled! Mickey loves to go on long walks chasing squirrels and picking up sticks along the way! He does well with other dogs and also cats. He will carry soft toys around the house and is very attentive to his foster family. He follows Smooch wherever she goes and loves to play wrestle and chase her around the yard. Mickey will curl up on anyone's lap for an afternoon nap. He is house broken and sleeps quietly in a crate with his sister at night. Because Mickey & Smooch are "Bonded Buddies" it will be best if they are adopted in a forever home together. They will make a great addition to just about any family who is willing to give them the love and attention they deserve. Mickey is 10lbs and full grown.
