Smooch Dachshund & Terrier Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Smooch a 10 month old Dachshund/Terrier mix female. Smooch and her brother Mickey were dodging cars on a busy highway before being rescued by a Good Samaritan. Both puppies had been on their own for quite some time and were exhausted, hungry and cold. Despite Smooch's tough beginning, she loves & trusts everyone she meets. She is a friendly outgoing little gal and will give you lots of puppy smooches, if you let her! She spends her days playing with her toys and wrestling with her brother Mickey, making sure he is always close. She follows her foster Mom around, just waiting to be picked up, carried and cuddled! Wearing a collar and walking on a leash is a new experience for her but it didn't take her long to have it mastered. She does well with other dogs and also cats. Smooch will curl up on anyone's lap and instantly fall fast asleep. She is house broken and sleeps quietly in a crate with her brother at night. Because Smooch & Micky are "Bonded Buddies" it will be best if they are adopted in a forever home together. They will make a great addition to just about any family who is willing to give them the love and attention they deserve. Smooch is 10lbs and full grown.
