Meet Summit
My name is Summitt and I am one of the Golden Retrievers rescued from Turkey. I am a sweet and gentle 2 year old female that was rescued out of a shelter in Istanbul. They told me I was coming to America but what they did not tell me until I arrived that I was named after a special lady named Pat Summitt. When I heard that, I was so excited because I am a big fan! I get along very well with other dogs, not sure about cats. I LOVE human attention and to hold things in my mouth - like most Goldens. Since I am a Turkey Dog, there are things you should know about me before you adopt me. I need a fenced in yard, no kids under 12 and someone who is home for most of the day.
