Meet Sydney
** Please note that we will adopt out of state only to homes that have had Wire Fox Terriers before, and will be case by case. **
** There cannot be another female dog in the household, male dogs OK **
Sydney was found wandering in a neighborhood, and her family never claimed her. We can't figure out because she's very well trained. Rescue picked her up from the shelter, and she now needs a new home, and family to love. Sydney is a young girl, probably 2 to 3 years old.
Sydney is a wonderful Wire, very sweet, loves to go on fast, brisk walks. She lives with 3 cats in her foster home, and is just fine around them. She wants more than anything to just be a part of her family.
She's very calm in the house, and enjoys just hanging out with everyone. She likes back scratches, robust sessins of tug-of- war, and killing squeaky toys. In a very short time, she's proved to be an exceptional companion. She also minds very well.
Like all Wires, Sydney requires a secure, fenced back yard. She likes spending time in her yard, and needs to be allowed to run around the back yard freely, and chase squirrels. She does great on walks, and is a very good, and fast walker.
Sydney is larger than the standard for a Wire. She's spayed, current on all vaccinations, and heartworm negative.
