Meet Mia
Mia is aged to be a 10 year old bichon mix, but don’t let her age fool you! Mia loves to take walks, to run and to just be outside. She also LOVES car rides! She is a very sweet girl who loves to be loved. Her favorite spot to sit is on her foster Mom’s lap so she can pet her, scratch behind her ears or massage her paws. Some of Mia’s favorite things include: getting treats, her bed, squeaky toys, giving kisses and playing. She loves to play ball. When she’s done playing she grabs the ball and throws it in her bed! Did we mention that Mia has lost most of her sight? You would never know it, and we haven't told her yet, because she thinks she is just as normal as she acts! Once she's comfortable in a place she does well, she easily settled into her foster home. She LOVES the outside (the beach and dog park are quickly becoming favorites!) and LOVES to run and jump. She's always smiling, and always a very happy girl!
For the most part Mia sleeps through the night and is very quiet. There are two other pets in foster family, a dog and a cat, and she doesn’t seem to mind them at all. Nor do they mind her. The resident dog is a lot younger than Mia, and Mia keeps up quite well.
Mia is learning basic commands, such as sit and stay. She is very good at “give me your paw” and she sharing more of what she knows every day! Mia is working hard on her housetraining, and doing better each day. Her foster family says “We just love and adore her!”
Mia is spayed, current on all vaccinations and micro chipped. She is being fostered in Southern California and now available for adoption. Adoption applications are available at www.bichonrescuebrigade.org/adopt.
