Meet GIGI
UPDATE - GIGI IS NOW IN A TRIAL ADOPTION. WE WILL UPDATE AGAIN ONCE THE ADOPTION IS FINALIZED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS SWEET LITTLE GIRL!
This approximately 6 year old squirt, Gigi, has an interesting pedigree -- we think she is miniature poodle mixed with terrier and some Chihuahua. And she’s absolutely full of herself! Weighing less than 7 lbs., this little girl has a big personality. She’s has an all-black, curly, and fairly wiry coat…with just a hint of white frosting on her chin. (Even though wiry, she does not seem to shed, however.)
Although small, Gigi is very self-possessed and has a bit of an alpha personality. She does not crave the company of other dogs. (She loves being the star of the show!) She enjoys going for walks each day and is quite adventurous. If you ask her, she might even do The Wave for you!
Gigi enjoys sitting on the couch -- preferably on a lap -- taking in some TV and a ear or tummy rub. She’s happy to be wherever her people are and wants to please. And although she came into our program from an animal shelter, she is well house-trained. We’d like Gigi to have a fenced yard in her forever home, and she’d do best if any children in the family are teens or older.
Warning: Gigi’s quite a little thief -- one look at her and she stole our hearts!
Gigi has been spayed, microchipped, and she received a dental cleaning. She's heartworm negative and is current on her Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines.
Gigi's adoption fee is $225.00.

Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, but we never 'ship' or 'transport' our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
We offer a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!
