Pupcakes Jack Russell Terrier Bardstown, KY

Pupcakes is an extremely loving female adult (-5 yrs) short-legged, smooth coat JRT. Pupcakes was owner surrendered to our shelter. She previously lived as an outside dog but is currently in foster care living indoors and has mastered skills like climbling stairs, potty training, using a dog door, riding well in cars, and stealing hearts. She is good with kids, gets along great with other dogs (including her foster sibling) but has not yet been tested with cats. Pupcakes is very sweet natured but a bit timid until she gets to know you, but understands her name and will come when called (even outdoors). Her greatest desire is just to snuggle on the couch with someone that will shower love and attentiion on her. Her foster mom and dad have long-term experience with JRTs (19+ years) and they say this is an exceptional JRT gal (docile yet gently playful). Her adoption fee is sponsored for an adoptee that can provide a loving indoor home.

As a shelter we can not fully guarantee the breed of our animals, but rely on the physical characteristics to make an educated guess. We also do our best estimating the dog's age, and adult size if he/she is still a puppy.

Our usual fee for our dogs and puppies is $120 which covers the veterinary work done on the pet. That includes heartworm testing for dogs older than 6 months, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and treatment for fleas and ticks.
