Meet Nala

Nala....Nala....Nala! What else can can be said about this stunning girl. Nala is a 2 year old 56 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. When you first meet her in the kennel she is very vocal but don't let that deter you from meeting her. Nala is a great fun loving girl. She would prefer to be an only pet but with some work and guidance maybe someday she may learn to appreciate another 4 legged friend. Nala loves her treats and knpws the basic commands. Her favorite trick is to roll on her back for her belly rub, she is such a lover. She would also love to have a 6 foot fence yard so that she could run and play with her toys and her favorite people. Nala would flourish in a mature home. A perfect day for Nala would be to be able to play in her own back yard with her toys and learning new things with her forever adopters then after a busy day when she is all wore out, she would love to just cuddle and relax with her loving family. As you can see she is the total package. She would enjoy going for walks or jogging with you and curling up with you while watching tv. Hope you can make it out to meet our girl Nala!

Nala has a sponsor that will cover $50 towards her adoption fee!!!

Nala is so special she has 2 bios. She was adopted and returned by a lady that loved her. This is what she has to say about her. Nala is as beautiful as she is sweet, but never quite got the attention she deserves. Because of this, she is very intimidated by other dogs in the home, and thus would thrive as an only pet. Nala absolutely blossomed when we took her home. She was forever curious about what I was doing, following me around from the moment she woke up until we fell asleep. She loves stuffed animals, and had a stuffed bunny that she would drag out of bed every morning, and waddle around with until she was tired, then she would find a comfy place next to me and gnaw lovingly on her bunny and fall asleep. She would give you kisses all day if you let her! She loves to snuggle and will gladly snooze next to you in bed, on the couch, or at your feet. Nala is as fast as she is curious, a well fenced in yard is probably best with her. She loves company at the house, and makes friends with people instantly! She is great at walks and needs little correction after a few trial runs of the neighborhood. She does not bark or chew on things she is not supposed to and she is very eager to please. Miss Nala does not show well in a kennel, and is quite terrified of them, which leads me to believe she spent a little too much time in one in her past life, but do not let her tough talk fool you, she is a lover and you will see a different dog when you take her out.She will need plenty of reassurance, love, and patience, as she has had a rough life, but she will never stop telling you how much she thanks you for giving her a chance. You will see it in her beautiful, smiling face and the kisses she just can't stop giving. It broke my heart that Nala felt that she had to compete with moose, but when it was just her and I, she was at peace, she was just happy to be in the same room with you, or curled up next to you doing anything.
