Meet Bella Mae ( has addison's disease)
Meet the beautiful sweet Bella Mae! She is 9 years young and would make a wonderful companion! Bella has Addison's Disease so she needs her medication (a shot) under her skin every 25 days for the rest of her life to keep her healthy. This medication is called Percorten and can be around $70-80 per month, so Bella's new family would have to be financially secure. The shot is something that can be given at home (it's very easy to do) or at a veterinary clinic by a technician (every 25 days). Bella also takes very low dose prednisone daily for her Addison's Disease (prednisone is very inexpensive). Bella tolerates her medications very well and when you meet her, you would ever know that she has this disease! She's a happy, lovable Labrador!
Bella currently lives with two cats, but does bark at them at times. She appears good with other dogs and kids thus far. She bonds very strongly to her people and is an excellent buddy!
