Meet Missy

This beauty is Missy, a 15 year old sweetie who is looking for a loving forever home! She is a great kitty! She would do best in a home as a single kitty as she wants all the attention to herself and gets very jealous of other cats. This lady simply needs to be the queen of the castle. She is a very sweet, people focused lady who would probably do better with older kids as she does not like to be held at all. She absolutely loves to be brushed and pampered but she is not a lap cat. She wants to sit near you, not on you! She also loves to be pet and snuggle up in bed to sleep with her foster family. She will even sneak under the covers on really cold nights. Don't let her age foul you either, this girl loves to play with her turbo scratcher, feather wand toy, and anything that has catnip in it! She is quiet the trooper having overcome diabetes. She has not needed insulin since last year because of her modified diet which is wonderful news!

Missy needs to eat a prescription intestinal diet to keep her intestinal tract happy! She came to us for euthanasia for being diabetic, but it turns out that she had a bad case of pancreatitis, so once we switched her food to a bland diet and treated her pancreatitis, she was no longer diabetic, and has been fine for months. She's a great cat!
