Meet Bernard
Are you looking for lovable and goofy? This big guy has won the hearts of everyone at BAHS. Bernard is working really hard to learn his manners. In just a few sessions he is doing well on sit and leash walks. Bernard must be your one and only, we've only had a few dogs here at the shelter he would tolerate for play. This makes it difficult to find him a home - he's been with us over two years and you can tell that living in a kennel has been frustrating for him. We'd love to see him blossom in a home.
4-year-old Bernard would be a good dog for an active family that loves the outdoors. At 65 lbs., he would be better with older children and adults. He is a St. Bernard/Labrador mix. As with all of our dogs, Bernard needs to be an inside dog so he knows he is a cherished member of the family.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm-negative.
