Lola Beagle Mix Cleveland, OH

Lola is about 7 years old and was rescued from a terrible hoarding and neglect situation involving 160 dogs and cats in Adams County, OH. It was such a massive situation that local authorities called in the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to assist in the rescue operation. PAWS was able to take 8 dogs from that situation and sweet Lola is one of them.
Here is what Lola's Foster Mom has to say about her: "Our Foster's name is Lola and even though she is completely emaciated she is quite spunky and only stops wagging her tail in her sleep. She's very cuddly and believes she is a cat and will sleep on the back of the couch! We keep a sweater on her as she is missing quite a bit of fur so she gets cold and scratches a lot probably from new fur growing in. I admit part of me also wants to keep the sweater on her so I'm not reminded of how skinny she is every time I look at her and instead can focus on her happy go lucky attitude!"
