Sadie #44 Black Labrador Retriever Killingworth, CT

Meet Sadie #44, a 2 year old, a strong and medium active 59 lb girl who has an eager to please you personality. She is a very intelligent girl and learns her commands easily. She knows: sit, down, wait, comes to a whistle inside and will do a nice recall from hundreds of feet away out in a field. She loves belly rubs and loves to get in the water. She walks pretty well on leash with an Easy Walker chest harness. She is house trained, fully crate trained at night and partially crate trained during the day. Fine with some dogs but not all dogs but not trustworthy with cats.

Sadie was pulled from a small concrete cell at a rural shelter in the Northeast. She then lived with a foster family and her lab, and was adopted by a couple that returned her due to family status changes. She now needs her true furever family. ideally someone who is active, is home a lot, with some acreage or a yard, and finally a family that is willing to continue her training, provide leadership and enjoy the love and the fun she has to give. She would do best in a home as the only dog so that she gets the attention that she needs.
