Meet Calla

Came to shelter as a stray. She has been at the shelter for over 3 years. She has been shy, reserved and timid up until 2 months ago. Two months ago, we started having high school kids come to help at the shelter. We had some of the kids work with Calla and she is a totally different dog. She no longer stays in her doghouse, but comes out to actively seek attention. She is very sweet, loves attention and is glad to be around people. She is still afraid of loud noises and sudden movements, but is making progress daily. this "low rider" little girl would make some family a great dog.
She is afraid of cats.
