Pip Tabby Ottawa, ON

Dec 31, 2016 - Pip and Pin have been officially adopted by their foster mum. They have seen many kittens come and go but they will be staying in the home they have come to love. A lovely way to start the New Year.

Pip and his sister Pin were born on Sept 6, 2015 to Bertha, a feral in a small colony. Born in the wild; to a feral mother made the kittens fearful of humans and extremely elusive. By feeding them regularly and gently playing with them they began to show signs of trust. One November evening their rescuer turned up the heat in his apartment, set some wet food down by the threshold, opened the door and quietly waited. After a half hour or so of lingering outside the open door, they casually walked into the apartment like they had been living there all along.

Pip is a big kitten with a long bushy tail. He is definitely a gentle giant. Pip is playful and affectionate with his sister, his foster mom, and the other foster cats in the home.

Pip is a cat who is happiest with a regular routine: wake up; snuggle with mom and sister; have first breakfast; run around the house chasing Pin; have second breakfast; watch mom clean the litter boxes; go to sleep until mom comes home from work; observe squirrels; snuggle during TV time; first dinner; run around the house chasing Pin; second dinner; bath; bedtime.

Pip is obsessed with his “Da Bird” toy and it needs to be kept out of sight between play sessions or he will eat the feathers right off the toy.

Pin and Pip are deeply bonded to each other and are looking for a home where they can live together.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, spay/neuter and vet check.
