Dakota #19 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Meet Dakota, a 4 year old 95 lb. black lab looking for his forever home! Dakota was adopted by a family who is no longer able to care for him, so he finds himself back in rescue looking for a home. Dakota is completely housebroken and well-mannered in the house. He is trustworthy and doesn't mess with what is not his. He is crate-trained but he is not a fan of his crate and would prefer to not have to use one. Dakota pretty much likes everything. He is great with people and has been fine with the other dogs he has met. He is extremely easy to please and he loves to play. Dakota loves to be brushed, rides well in the car and enjoys his bathtime. Dakota has been around children, and is great with everyone he meets. Due to his size, he would be best with children over 5. Dakota is a bit curious about cats, so a feline free home is best for him. Dakota is affectionate and lovable! He has completed his advanced obedience training and responds very well to a strong pack leader. Please ask us all about this wonderful boy!!!
