Meet Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell may not light up and flutter like her namesake from Peter Pan, but this ten-year-old purebred Dalmatian is just as sweet and affectionate. Dumped by her owner at the Baldwin Park shelter—though we do not know why—she is extremely loving. She is also very owner-protective, according to the volunteers who rescued her, which indicates how strongly she may grow attached to the lucky person who gives her the chance at a forever home. Tinkerbell’s right rear leg was amputated at some point in her life, for reasons unknown, but this doesn’t keep her from enjoying both walks and car rides or from cuddling up with you for a nap. Something “appropriately” chewable is her toy of choice.

Though Tinkerbell needs a home without children, she is comfortable with cats and is the perfect candidate to be your one-and-only sweetie. She would also adapt well into a quiet adult household with one stable male dog, but she will not fit well in a multi-dog home. Her adopter should be experienced with Dalmatians. She is housebroken, spayed and micro-chipped. Our black and white Tinkerbell wants to light up your life and “fly” away home with you!

****Tinkerbell has been diagnosed with kidney failure and requires special diet as well as fluid injections under the skin daily. She will also need regular blood panel to monitor her kidney status.****

We place our dogs in the Southern California or nearby areas only. We do not ship dogs.

Adoption fees range from $275 to $400. The lower end is charged for older dogs and the higher end is for puppies or young dogs.
