Meet Figo
FIGO is a small lion in a cats body. He came to our shelter in late 2015 and was said to be 'a stray' but a microchip told the true story. His owner had lied and denied knowing his own cat of 14 years!
Poor Figo was in terrible shape when he arrived. He was very thin, his teeth were all rotten, and he was severely diabetic. Because of his feisty temperament, treating with insulin was out of the question for us.
Thankfully, with proper dietary management, his diabetes is in remission.
Figo is full of energy despite his age. He loves to chase strings and the laser light and he loves his food. He would like a quiet retirement home where he can spend his senior years.
