Meet Michael Henry
Age: 7 years old

Health: Michael Henry is current on all of his vaccinations, HW negative, and neutered. He received a dental after his admission into rescue in August. He is diagnosed with a Grade 4 mitral valve murmur that has been evaluated by a Cardiologist and is being well managed by a very inexpensive daily medication called Benazapril. He also has slipping patellas, but they do not impact his comfort or movement.
My Story: Michael Henry lived his first 7 years in a loving home with an elderly woman. Following a stroke she moved to a nursing facility, and Michael Henry needed to find a new home.
My Ideal Home: As Michael has lived all his life with an elderly woman and 1 dog-brother, he prefers a calm household with 1-2 dog siblings. He does not enjoy a lot of chaos in his world. He prefers to eat in a crate or other area away from other dogs. Michael Henry loves to sit with you and be loved on, but he is not needy or clingy. He is able to be left when his person has to go out to work, run errands, etc. He knows how to use a dog door, and loves to be outdoors playing in the yard. He also appears to be house-trained. He travels well but appears slightly anxious when getting his lead on and preparing to go. He is such a sweet boy and has so much love to give.
