Velvet Whippet & Plott Hound Mix Cincinnati, OH

Velvet was dumped at a very high kill shelter. We are so, so thankful that STAF could bring this girl home. This lovely lady is precious and although she's not sure what all is going on around her, with all the dogs and people in this shelter place, she does knows one thing for sure, she’s happy to be at STAF and getting a lot of love and positive attention!

Velvet could use some confidence building (were pretty sure her first “home” was anything but positive) but with a little patience, love and understanding this girl will flourish before your eyes. Even with her rough start in life, Velvet still has such a loving and friendly personality and she tops it off by being just as cute as a button!

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
You must complete an application at the shelter prior to meeting any of our animals. (Sorry--our application is not available on-line or via email.)
We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 11.
We do request vet and personal references.
At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
