Meet Elmer- Looking for his bunny wabbit!

Hi there! Would you happen to have seen the wabbit?! No? Well, that's okay! I'm actually looking for my forever family right now. My name is Elmer and my foster mom says I am the most adorable little dog ever. She says I have the cutest floppy ears that fly around when I walk and I would make someone smile all the time with these ears!

I don't need much...I just want a loving home to spend my life in. I am only 2 years old and I know so much. I am housetrained, good in my crate (though I do whine a little bit but only because I miss you and want to be with you), and I know how to walk on a leash. I am only 9lbs, so I would be a perfect apartment companion, too!

I love going on walks and taking in all the new smells, I love sleeping in the room with my foster family, and most of all, I love having a foster brother I can play with!

My foster mom says like most chihuahuas, it takes me a little time to warm up, especially to men, but once I do, I will be the most cuddly, loyal, loving companion you have ever known!

Will you help me find the wabbits and be my forever family?

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
