Caleb Setter & Retriever Mix Charlotte, NC

Hi I am Caleb, a four month Setter/Retriever mix who loves to give kisses. I currently weigh about 23 lbs but could grow to 60-70. I love belly rubs and snuggling in my crate. When I'm scared I go straight to my crate to feel safe. My foster mom says she's very impressed with how quickly I've picked up on sit and wait. I took some time to warm up to house living (I was scared of all the new noises) but after a week with my foster mom I've made great progress! I am well on my way to being house trained as I haven't had an accident in a week. I love meeting and playing with all dogs so would probably do best in a house where I have a dog sibling or with a family that has lots of doggy friends. I am very calm and don't mind being petted anywhere so I would be great for a family with kids. Will you be my forever home?

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
