When Henrietta first joined the rescue from a hoarding situation, she was in such poor condition that she was almost entirely hairless and was endearingly referred to as the naked chicken. Now after a month of tlc in a wonderful foster home (and numerous medications from our great veterinarian), Henrietta is looking tons better and clearly feeling better too!

Her little personality is starting to blossom and though she's still a very mellow girl, we even heard a single bark for the first time this week! Henrietta shares her foster home with children and another dog and is wonderful with everyone. She is about 5 years old and cute as a button.

Henrietta's main issue was her skin which is looking so much better and will be 100% soon. She also has dry eye and likely some vision impairment which is a more permanent issue but certainly doesn't impact the quality of her life.
