Ms. Copper-pending Shepherd & Labrador Retriever Mix Manchester, NH

10/6- Ms. Copper is a young adult Lab/Shepherd Mix. The Veterinarian agrees that she is approximately 1 year old- something the neighbors verified by telling us her previous owners got her about a year ago. She has all her shots, is heartworm negative and is spayed. She is healthy, loving and playful. Her story is one we know all too well: She was abandoned by her owners when they lost their home to a foreclosure. So there she was, hungry and alone, hovering at the front door to a home that had been abandoned, just like her. Loyalty to a family that did not deserve a dog like her....She is good with children but for now that's all we can tell you. She is being fostered by a Veterinarian who has her in his clinic kennels....she has never messed in her kennel and will hold it until she is let out into the yard for some grass time which indicates she may already be housetrained but there is no way to know for certain. As soon as we have an opening in one of our foster homes we will see how she is in a home environment and verify her housetraining. We will update her post.
