Meet Blue Man, a 12 year old, 65 pound pit bull that thinks he is a puppy! This distinct looking dog has a lot of energy you would never believe he is a senior. You can see it in his face that he is an older dog, but then he will suddenly turn on the puppy look and make you smile! Blue Man is very good with dogs, lived with two female dogs all his life and was recently boarding for a day and was around 20+ dogs of all sizes and temperaments. He lives in a foster home with several other dogs, he is perfect with all size dogs and has been helping rehabilitate and socialize several scared dogs in his current foster home. Watch his video when he is assisting working with a small dog that is scared of new people and dogs and had picked up aggressive behavior with her owners. He is magnificent, this dog; everyone who meets him basically has one thing to say about him; WOW! Blue Man is very friendly with people; he is quiet and not destructive. He loves to go for car rides and water; he would lie in a pool all day long if you let him. He is nearly deaf, can hear very loud noises, however, he is very smart and has learned a few signs already. The hair on his ears will not grow back in but that is just cosmetic and he has some arthritis in his back that is normal for a dog his age. He has been x-rayed and had blood work done so other than that, he is a healthy senior full of spunk! We rescued him from East Valley Shelter where he had been turned in by his owner who had him all his life with two female pit bulls. His owner was devastated, facing a situation where he was losing his home suddenly combined with other tragic personal events. If you are looking for a very cool dog to hang out with, you found him. Please consider giving Blue Man his last home where he can live out his years in joy and peace!
