Someone will then review your application an return your call. You must respond to the confirmation email after submitting in order for us to begin processing your application.

Ready to adopt? The first step of the process is to fill out and submit an application. Once an application is submitted you will receive an email outlining our adoption procedure. You must respond back to the email for us to continue with your application. Once we receive that response, you should hear from the Adoption Committee within 5-10 days if your application is approved.This is sometimes delayed if we are unable to reach your references; please include email addresses for personal references whenever possible. The answers you give on this application will help us to find the best possible match between you and the dogs available through AUSSIE AND ME ANIMAL RESCUE (“AAMAR”).

Cost to Adopt. AAMAR Foundation is a non-profit organization and your donation may be tax deductible. Each dog incurs individual vet care and the donation fee is based on what each dog needs. All dogs are spayed or neutered unless age or health conditions are a factor; tested for heartworms, ehrlichiosis, lyme disease and is on monthly heartworm preventative; up-to-date on vaccinations; treated for parasites, and microchipped. The standard adoption fee is $350 for adults 13 months and over and $400 for pup 12 months and younger. AAMAR is an all-volunteer staff. There is no one who gets paid, so your donation is what helps these dogs have a healthy life and find loving homes. All dogs will come with a good bag full to take home as well as a new leash and collar.
