Tinsel Poodle & Shih Tzu Mix Tracy, MN

Tinsel is an 1 year old shih/poo looking for forever home after her family had to move to an apartment where they didn't allow dogs. Tinsel is shy and timid. She will need an experienced, child free home. She loves kids in her family but friends of the children startle her and we need to avoid any incidents. Tinsel needs slow, guided intros with new people but with proper introductions she does well. She does not handle house guests well, therefore, a quiet, calm home would be ideal for her. Tinsel is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on heart worm/flea/tick monthly prevention.

Tinsel is special needs because she has crystals in her urine (she's had two tests done at vet to confirm diagnosis). This isn't a big deal but will require she stay on special Science Diet kibble from vet and she'll need urine analysis done once in a while. If she is off the food she will have accidents in the house. Also, she is a bit of a chewer, very playful stage still since she's
only a year old, so wanted to mention that as well that she needs toys and bones to keep her teeth occupied. Last thing I wanted to mention, is that she is can be timid of
men and does need slow intros to get to know them. She currently lives in
home foster dad and loves him and all his guy friends but it did take a week or so for her to warm up to them.
