Well how do you do, my name is Payton! It surely is a pleasure to meet ya’ll.
I’m only 1 year old and I weigh about 18lbs but my oh my I have all my social graces down pat. My foster mom says I will win your heart in seconds flat. Must be my southern charm, I’m a southern belle in every sense!

I’m a real people person er, canine. I love everyone that I meet. I walk very nicely on the leash and I love to play with other dogs. I do declare, running around in circles with the pack chasing me is right up my alley! I’m not a big talker, and I’m a little submissive. People were unkind to me once in my life but foster mom is teaching me that humans can be gentle and soft too. Now I feel very joyful and sometimes I can hardly contain myself… unless you are going to give me a belly rub, that I can slow down for, trust me! I’m very happy to just lie in your arms and be petted or sit on the back of your chair. If you’re busy I can amuse myself with my bone or with some toys as well. Because you see, I am a very silly and funny girl, and if you see me out of the corner of your eye, I know it will make smile!

I truly do love to play and I think if I could, I would much rather have a pack mate in my forever home. Then I wouldn’t get lonely but in a pinch I can amuse myself.

I am rather fond of mealtimes. I will dance a little dance for my food and it truly is a wonderful part of my day. When foster mom tells me to sit for my bowl I can feel my whole body wiggling in anticipation! I’m also very good at cleaning up after my foster brothers, they make such a mess and leave food on the floor, so I say Fiddledeedee and clean up after them.

I’m a very gentle and loving girl. Foster mom even said I was perfect and she couldn’t understand why ANYone would give me up. Me neither, but I’m glad they did because I’m looking forward to being loved forever with my new family.
