Jax German Shepherd Dog & Collie Mix Waxhaw, NC

Meet Jax, a handsome German Shepherd/Collie mix born around May 20th, 2015. Jax is truly a miracle! He came to our rescue from a high kill shelter very sick and emaciated. He was literally near death and with the help of the wonderful vets we work with and amazing volunteers this sweet boy has made a full recovery. Today Jax has gained back his weight, is feel better than ever and is loving every minute with his foster family. He is undeniably one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He loves to snuggle and cuddle with his foster parents. Enjoys playing with his foster's bigger dog. He favorite toys are definitely the ones he can chew on. His foster parents say he is doing great with house and crate training. They are working on basic commands like sit and stay and say Jax is a quick learner. Jax would do best in a home were someone is home more often than not and one with a fenced in yard for him to run and play in. Jax is waiting for his forever family to find him. He currently weighs around 20lbs and will weigh around 50lbs full grown. His adoption donation is $250 and includes his current vaccines, microchip and neuter.
